Meet the Founder
At The Wedding Sitter, I’m not just a sitter – I’m your child’s new best friend! I’m an energetic, caring, and fun-loving individual who knows how to keep kids entertained while ensuring they’re safe and sound. From wild games to creative crafts and bedtime snuggles, I’m here to make sure your little ones have a blast while you enjoy your special day worry-free. Trust me – your kids are in for a day filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of new memories!
I have always had a passion for working with children and take great joy in supporting their growth and development. My journey began in Thailand, where I spent two years as a TEFL teacher, working with students ages 5 to 18. I hold two Bachelor's degrees in Ancient History & Archaeology and International Hotel Management (Business), but my true calling lies in child development.
Currently, I’m pursuing postgraduate studies in Psychology with the goal of becoming a Child Psychologist. I have completed various child-focused courses, including Child Clinical Neurology and Family and Child Therapy. Additionally, I’m working towards becoming a certified Reformer Pilates instructor.
For the past four years, I’ve worked as a nanny in Wanaka, with three of those years spent with my current family. I find deep fulfilment in building strong connections with the children I care for, and I’m committed to positively impacting their growth and shaping their futures.
